(Once you haveBorn in 1994, François Pineau-Benois, discovered his passion for violin playing at the age of four. He joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris (CNSMDP) at 14 years old. He has attended masterclasses of renowned soloist and teachers amongst which are Maxime Vengerov and Salvatore Accardo.

François Pineau-Benois plays Lucien Durosoir's historical Italian violin "Le Genève", an instrument which Durosoir took with him to the First World War, which is graciously lent to François by the Musicians between War and Peace Association.
